Qualified Social Worker – Youth Offending Service

Our client has a vacancy for a Qualified Social Worker to work within a Youth Offending Service based in West London. This is a contract position with an immediate start. The pay rate for this role is £22 per hour.

Duties Include –
- Undertake generic assessments for young people using the Youth Justice Board assessment tool, ASSET and other relevant assessment frameworks, at the prescribed national standards.
- Write Pre-Sentence Reports for Magistrates’ and Crown Courts and Community Panel Reports and other reports to a high standard, following local and national guidelines and deadlines for a variety of audiences.

Requirements –
You must have a relevant Social Work qualification (BA / MA Social Work / DipSW / CCETSW), be GSCC registered and be eligible to work in the UK. All applicants must be flexible and have at least two years post qualifying experience within a Youth Offending Services department.
